Naive Road, West Epiphany, Third Block*

When I walked down Naive road,
I nailed down the memory beating inside
The white sun sparkled
when I reached the third block of West Epiphany

The afternoon sunlight dazzled my eyes
Spinning my floral parasol round and round
I picked up an alleycat on the way
Smiling at me, I fell in love with you...

I never realized, the color I was shedding
looked the same as blood
Someone screamed, forever is a lie
With out bodies pressed together,
Just as I thought, I had no idea,
what love really was

At the River of Dead Feelings, waves of people
make a commotion with the new rumors they bring
Causing a scene at the big bridge, I dove off
The surface of the water swayed, and the fish swam

Going by softly...
Heisei period, 18th year (2006), May 10th (How it is today...)
The two of us playing together, looking like two kittens
A gentle wind flew in through the window
We are a patch of sunlight,
An imprint.

I... I am definitely a hopeless girl
Everyone goes crazy,
Over a song about first love
The word I used in exchange for my heart,
I've forgotten it
That scream of what I thought love was,
Is now an echo.

* The title of the song is actually an address written in Japanese (with symbolism).
The entire song is written with "broken" sentences. Like pieces from a memory. I had no good way of translating it so that it made sense in English, so I used full sentences instead.

** I also prefer Akiakane's cover of this song. Her voice is just so powerful and full of emotion.
